INSC, an IT, Services and Consultancy company, was founded on the 29th May 1992, born from a partnership between several colleagues with a common background, both in their schooling and career paths. And so, the so-called “minor company” founded by this group of young people, fuelled by their entrepreneurial spirit and desire to innovate working methods compared to other, well-established, companies, began its journey.

As with all adventures, INSC got off to a promising start by landing its first clients, who would affectionately call us “INSC – National Institute of Computer Salvation”. And as expected, we have since faced challenges that have required our team to readjust, consolidating our managing partners, Filipe Correia and Lino Nóbrega’s, competitive spirit.

The partnership established by the two leaders, who have divergent yet complementary skillsets, has held fast for 28 years and been the driving force behind the challenging, rewarding job of providing a quality service, from requests for information to implementing solutions and providing support for information and IT systems.

A INSC, empresa de Informática, Serviços e Consultadoria foi fundada a 29 de maio de 1992, fruto de uma parceria entre vários colegas com passado em comum, tanto no âmbito escolar como profissional.

A denominada “empresa dos pequenos”, formada por este grupo de jovens com espírito empreendedor e vontade de inovar no método de trabalho em relação às demais empresas então consolidadas no mercado, começou a sua jornada.

Como em todas as aventuras, a INSC teve um início promissor ao conquistar os primeiros clientes. Carinhosamente, chamavam-nos “INSC Instituto Nacional de Salvação dos Computadores”. Porém, obviamente, enfrentou alguns desafios, que proporcionaram readaptações na equipa e consolidaram o espírito competitivo dos sócios-gerentes, Filipe Correia e Lino Nóbrega.

A parceria, que persiste há 28 anos entre os dois líderes com competências distintas e complementares, promoveu o trabalho árduo e compensador de prestação de um serviço de qualidade, desde o pedido de informação à implementação e suporte das soluções em sistemas de informação e TI.

Social Responsibility has always been a measure strongly implemented in INSC’s culture and values, with the daily commitment and involvement of our team in creating a more supportive, fair and sustainable world.

One of our goals is to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge, access to information technologies and the promotion of digital skills in our community. For that purpose, INSC undertakes solidarity initiatives as a way of actively collaborating in the fight against social exclusion and promoting digital inclusion, through the training of young people to develop skills with the purpose of “Keeping up with the transition to digital”.
